We're not just drawing buildings - we're figuring out how people actually want to live, work, and hang out in urban spaces. That's been our thing since day one.
Back in 2011, a couple of us were sitting in a cramped Kyiv cafe, sketching ideas on napkins and complaining about how most new buildings looked soulless. We'd just left positions at big firms where everything felt... formulaic, y'know? Cookie-cutter designs that ignored what the city actually needed.
So we started Stellar Quinthos with one simple goal: design spaces that people genuinely enjoy being in while not trashing the planet in the process. Sounds obvious, right? But you'd be surprised how often that gets forgotten.
Fast forward to now - we've grown from that initial three-person team to a crew of passionate architects, urban planners, and sustainability nerds who still get excited about solving spatial puzzles. We've tackled everything from compact residential units to sprawling commercial complexes, always keeping that original mission front and center.
Three architects with laptops and lots of caffeine started sketching out what sustainable urban design could actually mean for Kyiv.
Landed our first major commercial project - a green building that actually got people talking. Suddenly, clients started getting what we were trying to do.
Expanded into full urban planning after realizing individual buildings only tell part of the story. Neighborhoods matter more.
Started working on heritage buildings because, honestly, Kyiv's got some gorgeous old structures that deserve better than demolition.
Still pushing boundaries, still learning, still believing that architecture should make life better - not just look good in photos.
Look, we could fill this section with fancy architectural terms, but here's what actually drives us...
We're not slapping solar panels on things and calling it green. Real sustainability means designing buildings that'll last, use resources smartly, and adapt as needs change. It's about the long game.
Buildings are for people, not awards. We spend time understanding how folks will actually use a space - not just how it'll photograph. Sometimes that means breaking conventional design rules.
Every site has a story - the neighborhood, the history, the way light falls at different times. We're not dropping the same design everywhere. Cookie-cutter isn't our style.
Life changes, businesses pivot, families grow. We design with flexibility built in so spaces can evolve without needing complete overhauls every few years.
